Disclaimer
PlainEnviro makes data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency legible, covering more than 25,000 industrial facilities and over 49,000 public drinking-water systems across every U.S. state and territory. Please read how to use this information responsibly before acting on it.

Not Affiliated
PlainEnviro is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, and not endorsed by, the agencies or organizations that publish the data we present. We do not issue, manage, or control the underlying records.
Data Reflects Source Release Cycles
PlainEnviro draws on data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, including the Toxics Release Inventory established in 1986, in which industrial facilities self-report their own chemical releases rather than having them independently measured. Records on PlainEnviro reflect the most recent source data we have processed and can lag an official release; our methodology explains how records are sourced, normalized, and processed. Values can change after we ingest a record, and source data may contain errors or be incomplete. Always confirm the current information directly with the primary source before acting.
Reporting an Error
If a record looks wrong, use the contact page with the page URL and a source for the correct value. How we verify and fix reports is described in our editorial & corrections policy.
