The Air Quality Index (AQI) is a 0–500 scale used by the EPA to communicate daily air quality. AQI 0–50 is "Good," 51–100 is "Moderate," 101–150 is "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups," 151–200 is "Unhealthy," and above 201 is "Very Unhealthy" or "Hazardous." It factors in ozone, particulate matter, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide.
